Contributions Challenge 1:

I think school is a good opportunity to be together and to know each other. Even if at first we are shy and we do not want to exteriorize ourselves, we get along with each other and choose the people with whom we can interact the most.

School is also where we can find friends with common passions. For example, at school I met guys who dance, playing guitar, and who are passionate about popular traditions. Through the school, we have the opportunity to get to know and approach people of the same age as ours, share our thoughts, opinions, and advise one another.

                                                          Gabriela Aldea

At schoolwe spend most of the time. I would say that we are more at school than at home. That's why I think the atmosphere at school must be a harmonious and pleasant.

To go with pleasure at the school it is necessary that relations between students to be based on understanding and respect.

School should represent a second family. Our actions can influence the future of certain people. We choose whether a person's memories with us will be pleasant or unpleasant.

                                                                                Beatris Heres

The school is a great place to be together. As some people say, school is not such a good place. In our opinion, school is very good. Let's say school is the first place that we can make true friends and we can be together. School is our second home. We spend half our time there every day together with our school mates which became our family by now. School is something great as we learn to make friendships, we learn to do things together, as friends. I also believe that school is a good and nice place already. So I don't really can come with any ideas of how to make it better. There is always a nice atmosphere at the National College of Computer Science "Grigore Moisil" Brasov. Both the teachers and the students are very friendly and helpfully.

                                                                                    Flavius Susu

School must be maintained as much as possible. The school needs to look better. I have participated in activities such as planting flowers in the garden. Students need to keep clean the school, at the classes of painting they make different designs to be attached on the wall.

                                                                                   David Anghel

Hello, we think that we can improve the school by implementing hi-tech technology that can help the students learn better because they have more options to choose the information. We also think that introducing entertaining activities will make students more interested about school.

                                                                               Razvan Spinu and Nicolae Scarlat

Regarding to the atmosphere in the class, we can try to make our class even more beautiful by planting all kind of flowers in the backyard, or in the class. That would make a good image of the students linked to the atmosphere and improve their results.

                                                                               Octavian Nalbantu

In order for the school to be a more enjoyable and beautiful place, a few things should be changed, for example:

- To have more practical activities, to focus more on things of the future;

- We would like to organize weekend competitions on topics that we are passionate about, to do activities with the whole class, not only with some, to be more united;

                                                                                Cristin Rus and Bogdan Peter

We’ve done plenty of good things in our school. Even from the start in the 9th grade we went with our Maths teacher in the garden and we’ve cleaned it. In the winter time we have cleaned the yard when it has snowed. Right before we have finished the year, we were supposed to move to another class room so we’ve painted the old class room and we let it clean for the next generation.

Contributions Challenge 2:

Actions speak louder than words

To say something and to do something are two different things. It is a well known fact that people often do not do what they say, even being a hypocrite and doing the opposite. An action can never be undone, but a promise can be broken.

People say things and make promises they have no intention of keeping on a daily basis. You can tell someone you love him or her as many times as you want, but until your behavior coincides with that, the other person will probably not believe you. Some feelings cannot be expressed in words; they require actions to speak for them. Words are cheap, anyone can tell someone they love them, but they will not feel the immensity of these emotions until they are acted upon.

A world without trust is a world incomplete. And trust does not come within a day or even a week. It is developed through time, constant effort and persistent results. This is only possible when you are certain that you deliver whatever it is that you have promised.

You are known by the work that you do. Your reputation, be it among your friends or at your work place will be set based on what you do. This is why you must at all times, make sure that you only say things that you have intentions of doing, because your reputation will be marked buy your actions.

The best thing about keeping your word is that people are not only able to see that you do what you promised, but at the same time see that you are very capable. Your potential is unveiled and your work will shine through, assuring everyone that you know what you are doing. In terms of working relationships, this is perhaps the most important aspect of why actions speak louder and clearer than words.

                                    Miruna Milu and Eliza Coc

An action counts more than a word, because if many people can speak words, a few people do actions. From my point of view facts are more appreciated than words.

                                   Razvan Radu

Volunteers acts

Our school gives us the chance to make volunteer acts to an old foster care. We have raised money and we donated it. We went to the old foster care and spent time with them, talk and they tell us their stories. We felt good doing this and we hope to repeat that experience.

                                       Larisa Balint and Daniel Mantale

Good things done at school

We painted the classroom in the 9th grade before leaving it for another classroom.

We also cleaned the classroom before the spring break and before the Simulation of the Exams.

                                      Razvan Spinu and Nicolae Scarlat

I think the good things we do help us to develop and we should not expect anything in return.

For example, last year we helped to organize a festival, helped a colleague to better understand a hard matter and we saved a small cat that we gave the cat to a friend who wanted to have one.

                                      Livia Pitis and Tudor Chirciu

The facts express more than words

Most people tend to say they will do good deeds, promise to do some things, but there are few who really do their promises.

In our school there were schooling events, and many students promised to help or bring flowers to plant in the courtyard of the

school. But few of them were the ones who came and helped to accomplish the task. This shows that facts are everything. Speaking is very easy to say, but the deed really proves what kind of people we are.

Completion:

In this project, the word “me“ became “us”. We’ve worked together and we have tried to understand each other to solve this project. So in order to solve the tasks, we’ve come up together with ideas and we’ve all worked together. We learned to work as a group, as a team and everything comes up very easily now when it comes to working together. We also learned how to help each other in any situations and if any of us needs anything, if we can , we help each other. So now, I don’t use “me” anymore. I use “us” as we came to understand each other very well.

                     Flavius Susu and Razvan Nitu

Me became we simply because we managed to work as a family as a group, all in team, to be able to put our ideas together. This project has come closer to us and has taught us to succeed together, and success is far more satisfying when we manage everything as a team.

We learned to listen to each other and manage to solve everything. In our group there is no one, no one makes a decision without the other, we are a group like a family.

Evaluation:

Our feedback for the project is that we liked it because we worked with altruistic and good people, partners who are caring about the others first and only then for them. Their ideas would make the world a better place if they will be put in practice. The layouts of the projects were great and the photos gave us something at we should reflect.

We greatly appreciate the fact that we can interact with other people in our country and from other countries, too.

We liked to work in this project because it was about how to do school and class lessons to be more delightful. Yes, it is very true that the

learner is a happy one, because if you go to school you learn to write, read, count through very easy ways, but also you meet your colleagues, friends and talk to them and having fun.

We found interesting to work in group and we had a really good time being involved in GTP and we think that the project is good for these reasons, too.

We appreciate the implication of the groups of students from many countries in solving the “Global Teenager Project” tasks.

It was a pleasure for us to join the project and to discover common passions and common activities with the other GTP participants.
